VASE DUET

 

 

Use a square of paper.

This vase is well looked, assembled from beautiful wall-paper or other dense paper by the size approximately 50x50 cm. And if to collect it from a sheet of the smaller size (30x30cm.), it quite will approach for a storage of handles and pencils.

1 Valley fold and unfold a sheet on a diagonal.

2 Valley fold the bottom rectangle in half along one diagonal as shown.

3 Valley fold and unfold the top edge over on a line, which touches of the triangle's tip as shown. Also make vertical fold-line through the triangle's tip. Open the triangular flap.

4 In result one fifth is received on the horizontal and two fifth on the vertical.

5 With the help of fold-lines made in a step 3 divide a paper into five equal parts on the vertical and on the horizontal.

6 Fold and unfold the top and bottom edges half-and-half.

7 Valley fold the specified squares in half along a diagonal lines. Press and unfold them.

8 Turn the model over. Valley fold the specified squares in half along a diagonal lines. Press and unfold them.

9 And here it is necessary simply to change in the specified places of “mountain” for “valleys”.

Turn the model over.

10 Valley fold the top and bottom edges in half as shown.

11 This should be result.

12 Along the existing vertical fold-lines fold the paper as shown.

13 Insert the right-hand side into the left-hand side.

14 Mountain fold the top and bottom edges along the existing fold-lines as shown.

15 Press the paper in the marked place. Simultaneously fold the tube in the direction shown by arrows.

16 Repeat the previous step for each party so that its edges meet in the middle as shown.

17 Form the marked corners. For this purpose it is necessary to move internal layers upwards and downwards.

18 Vase “Duet” is ready!

And, as in a good duet, any of the parties here should not prevail above another.
Balance it by two bouquets of flowers.
